I can totally relate to this. Like you, my husband is supportive of my writing dreams, but I don’t think he really believes I’ll be successful. He is the practical one, while I’m the dreamer. So he’s always pushing me to focus on getting a nice, cushy corporate job, while I have dreams of working freelance and writing on my own time.

But I don’t think it’s my husband’s job to believe in my dreams. He should support them yes, but believing in them is on me. I have to have the drive and ambition to go after them. He can’t do that for me.
